Jewish Man Brutally Assaulted In Crown Heights Beatdown

A parking dispute in Crown Heights turned into a shocking beating Wednesday afternoon sending a Jewish man to the hospital.

The incident took place on Montgomery Street in Crown Heights as the Jewish man was attempting to park his car. During his attempt, the Jewish man bumped the car behind him, a phenomenon that is hardly uncommon in the crowded Borough of Brooklyn.

What is uncommon was the response from the people in the car.

Apparently infuriated, the thugs began to follow the Jewish man as he searched for another parking spot, catching up to him a block later and cutting him off with their vehicle. At first, the Jewish man cordially spoke with them as they demanded money for damage to the vehicle, but after realizing that the conversation was not going to end well, the Jewish man brought up the option of calling the police for a police report.

The gang’s response was violence.

Surveillance video of the beatdown shows the gang of thugs pummeling the Jewish man as he sat inside the car, causing significant injuries to his face. After being hit more than ten times, the gang disbursed and fled the scene.

Crown Heights Shomrim and Hatzalah were called and the Jewish man was transported to Maimonides hospital for his injuries.
