43-Year-Old Man Dead After Friday Night Shooting in Crown Heights

As Crown Heights residents were returning home from Shul Friday night, they were welcomed by a heavy police presence on Carroll Street between Utica and Rochester after a 43-year-old man was shot and killed.

According to the police, at about 9:20pm Friday evening, the 43-year-old man was found shot multiple times in the chest in the area of 1710 Carroll Street.

The man was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The services of Chessed Shel Emes were not needed.

No arrests have yet been announced in the incident.
