NYPD Chase Down and Arrest Motor Biker on Eastern Parkway

Eastern Parkway and Albany Ave became the center of attention Thursday night when NYPD officers chased down a biker, and after a scuffle, placed him under arrest.

The incident took place around 9:30pm when the officers, fore a yet unknown reason, attempted to stop a man on a motorbike. The man refused to stop and a chase ensued.

The unusual pursuit ended on Eastern Parkway near Albany Ave when the officers were able to finally stop the biker, and after a scuffle, place him in handcuffs.

Things didn’t end there as the officers called for backup to search for a possible firearm that the biker was suspected to have tossed. The search did not locate any firearm.

The biker was evaluated by East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance and refused medical attention. Both he, and his bike, were taken to the 71st NYPD Precinct
