Woman Seriously Injured After being Shot In Crown Heights Building

An 18-year-old woman was seriously injured early Wednesday morning after being shot while inside a Crown Heights building.

Police officers responded to the building in the area of Sterling Pl and Rochester Ave at approximately 2:45am where they found the woman in the stairwell with a gunshot wound to her head.

She was rushed to the hospital is serious but stable condition.
