Man Slashed In Crown Heights Deli Over Beer

This is the classic case of, it’s just not worth it.

A man robbing a Crown Heights Deli by stealing a beer slashed a store clerk in the face this past Thursday morning, and now the police are looking for him.

According to the police, the 22-year-old store store clerk had been on duty at 1:40am at 176 Albany Ave Saint Marks when the man attempted to leave the store without paying for a beer.

The robber slashed the store worker in the face with a sharp object before fleeing. The store worker was treated by EMS and brought to the hospital.

Was it worth the beer for either the perpetrator or the victim?
