Package Thief Nabbed After Alert Resident Took Action and Called Shomrim

Another Crown Heights package thief will be cooling their heels behind bars for a bit after being caught red handed by an alert Crown Heights resident.
The resident witnessed the female package thief make off with her loot from the stoop of a Union Street home between Monday afternoon. She immediately alerted Crown Heights Shomrim through there hotline as other residents began following the thief.
With package still in hand, the thief was stopped just blocks later, and remained there until the police arrived.
The police placed the woman under arrest and took her back to the 71st Precinct.
