Man Fatally Stabbed in Crown Heights Dispute Thursday Evening

A dispute between two Crown Heights roommates in ended with one fatally stabbed Thursday evening, and the other arrested.

According to reports, the stabbing was sparked by an argument between the 40-year old and 45-year-old roommates while inside their apartment near the corner of Crown Street and Troy Ave around 7:00pm.

The 40-year-old pulled out a knife and fatally stabbed his friend in the chest before fleeing the apartment.

911 was called and the injured man was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The roommate who fled the apartment later surrendered at the 71st Precinct, and charged in the murder are pending.
