Arrest Made and Charges Filed In Carroll Street Mugging Last Thursday

Following the mugging of a bochur on Carroll Street last Thursday night, the NYPD made an arrest and has filed charges.

Adrian Briscoe, 18, was arrested by the NYPD in the area of East New York and Troy soon after the bochur was mugged on Carroll Street between Troy and Schenectity. He faces charges of Robbery.

As previously reported on CrownHeights.info, the 24-year-old bochur had been walking on Carroll Street between Troy and Schenectady at approximately 11:20pm Thursday night, when three people cornered him and robbed him of $150 cash.

No weapon was displayed and the victim was not injured.

Earlier, the same crew had attempted another mugging in the vicinity of President and Troy, which was disrupted when the intended victim began screaming for help.
