Window Breaking Car Thief Strikes Again In Crown Heights

A car thief whose method of breaking into cars involves throwing a rock through the cars rear window has struck again in Crown Heights.
The thief targeted a car parked on Eastern Parkway near the corner of Troy Ave around 8:00am Sunday morning, breaking the back window and making off with a box of items that was in the trunk.
Crown Heights, which has in the past seen nightly break ins of this kind, has mostly been spared these past few months.

Update: Following CrownHeights.info’s publication of the original story, multiple reports have been received that this thief targeted multiple vehicles in the area. Other locations where cars were targeted were on Troy, Carroll to President, and on Union and Troy. The break ins were all noticed before 9:30am this morning.
