Cement Brick Thrown Through Lobby Door of Crown Heights Apartment Building
by CrownHeights.info
A domestic dispute in a Crown Heights apartment building left a glass door shattered Tuesday night, but thankfully no injuries.
Crown Heights Shomrim received a call in the early hour of Wednesday morning to 456 Brooklyn Ave, a building that had just been robbed of over a dozen packages just the night before.
The volunteers arrived to find the front lobby door shattered, and a large cement brick laying on the floor.
After a brief investigation, it was determined that the brick had been thrown by a man who was having a domestic dispute and had been attempting to gain access to the building. The police were called and the man fled.
Going above and beyond the call of duty, the volunteers spent extra time clearing away the shattered glass after the police had finished their investigation.
