NYPD Car Chase Ends With Wreck in Crown Heights

A car chase that began on Fulton Street in Brooklyn ended up with a wrecked car and one arrested in Crown Heights Motzei Shabbos.
The incident began on Fulton Street and Albany Ave in the 77th Precinct around 11:00pm when officers of the NYPD began chasing armed suspects in a grey Chevy Cruse with fake paper license plates.
The suspects turned onto Albany Ave, driving across Eastern Parkway and into the 71st Precinct. At the corner of Carroll Street and Albany Ave, the Chevy lost control and wrecked, going nose first into the corner homes retaining wall.
The suspects then attempted to run on foot, with one being apprehended just two blocks further at Montgomery and Albany, and the other still at large.
A level 1 mobilization was called and an NYPD helicopter called in to assist with the chase.

Update 11:52pm: As per sources in the NYPD, the incident began when the officers attempted to make a traffic stop over a stolen vehicle.
