Arrest Made In Crown Heights Store After Man Claims He Has A Gun
by CrownHeights.info
A man is in cuffs Sunday after he entered a Jewish owned store in Crown Heights and threatened that he had a firearm.
The incident took place Sunday afternoon when a man entered a Troy Ave store with an unleashed dog in toe. Wandering around, the dog was panicking the stores customers, prompting the owner to ask the man to collar his dog.
After multiple attempts, the man continued to refuse, going so far as to claim that he was armed.
A call was made to Crown Heights Shomrim, who ensured that the scene remained calm as 911 was called.
The police arrived quickly, and after the man refused to cooperate with the police and an outstanding warrant was discovered, he was taken into custody.
Thankfully, no one was injured throughout the ordeal.
