SHOMRIM ALERT: A New Package Thief Came To Town

Crown Heights Shomrim has published an alert to the community advising of a new package thief that has come to town and has been caught shopping on the communities porches and buildings.

“This person has been stealing numerous packages from homes and buildings,” the alert states. “If seen call Shomrim at 718-774-3333.”

The thief follows a similar method of crime to a previous thief caught by Shomrim who used his green Jeep vehicle to perpetrate his crimes.

This thief also uses a vehicle, this time an older model white Toyota Camry with Texas license plate MVT-8673.

According to Shomrim, it is even possible that the new thief is working as part of a package thief ring, with reason to believe that he is working in concert with the previously caught thief.
