Enormous $1.2 Million Jewelry Heist In Boro Park

by CrownHeights.info

A targeted heist of $1.2 Million in Jewelry went down in Boro Park last Friday, making the gun point robbery a priority for the NYPD.

“These 2 perpetrators are #Wanted by @NYPD66Pct for a gun-point robbery on 47th Street and 15th Avenue – they took off with a large amount of jewelry from the victim,” Boro Park Shomrim posted on Twitter.

In the video provided, two perpetrators can be seen walking up to a parked car on 47th Street and shoving a gun in the drivers face. The perpetrators forced the man to open his trunk, where the thieves lifted out multiple bags of jewelry and made off.

The 1:00pm heist took place in front of confused onlookers, but the 20 seconds it took to complete the heist was too fast for anyone to recover.

The thieves were reported as having been seen fleeing in a Ford Taurus with temporary New Jersey license plates.
