Two Shot In Fatal Crown Heights Shooting

A woman was killed Thursday night and another man was shot in a fatal double shooting on S. Johns Pl in Crown Heights.

The tragic events unfolded around 8:30pm on S. Johns Pl near Rochester Ave, and according to police, the woman wasn’t even the intended target.

According to the police, the 54-year-old woman had just been returning home when she was shot twice in the chest. She was rushed to Kings County Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The man who was shot in the arm, identified only as being 30 years old, has allegedly been highly uncooperative according to the police and is also being treated in Kings County Hospital.

As of Friday morning, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
