17-Year-Old Gunned Down In Crown Heights

A 17-year-old boy was gunned down in Crown Heights Wednesday night in a fatal shooting being investigated by the NYPD.

According to the police, officers responded at approximately 9:23pm to a report of an assault near the corner of Rochester Avenue and Sterling Place in Crown Heights. When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy unconscious and shot in the neck by 1435 Sterling Pl.

He was rushed by ambulance to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD is investigating the incident, and the gun was recovered on Rochester Avenue and Sterling Place.

No arrests had been made as of early Thursday morning.
