Two Rifles Seized by NYPD in Crown Heights

Two rifles were seized by the NYPD’s 71st precinct over the weekend in the continued citywide crackdown on gun crime.

While unlikely to have been used in most violent city crime, the find is nonetheless shocking and scary.

“The Field Intelligence Team completed an investigation leading to the confiscation of these firearms,” tweeted the 71st Precinct with a photo of the guns. “Great job!”

Gun violence and gun crime has seen a massive uptick in the big apple over the last year, driving critics to blame the Bail Reform laws and Defund the Police sentiments.
