A Jewish man inside a Crown Heights Post Office was the target of a hate filled rant threatening to kill Jews Tuesday afternoon.
The Jewish man had been online in the post office on Empire Blvd in Crown Heights when a man described as a male black entered and cut into the waiting line.
When asked for an explanation, the man suddenly began a violent anti-Semitic rant, threatening to kill Jews. While everyone else continued to look on, the ranting man continued his hate filled for an extended period until leaving.
The Jewish man called 911 and reported the incident. The responding police officers classified the crime as aggravated harassment and a possible hate crime, paving the way for the city’s hate crimes task force to launch an investigation.
