Glastonbury, CT — A police representative said Monday they were investigating what appeared to be anti-Semitic vandalism.
A sign for the Chabad East of the River Jewish Center was defaced with a six-inch swastika and the word 'Jewish' was altered to read 'Jew'. The sign was posted at the intersection of Main and Griswold Street.

A sign for the Chabad East of the River Jewish Center was defaced with a six-inch swastika and the word ‘Jewish’ was altered to read ‘Jew’. The sign was posted at the intersection of Main and Griswold Street.
Chabad East of the River is under the directorship of Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky and his wife Yehudis. They have recently inaugurated their new Chabad House, as we had reported Here.
