Another fatal shooting took place this afternoon in Lincoln Terrace “Rochester” Park, sending children scattering and adults ducking for cover.
The shooting took place at approximately 5:50pm, while many parents and children played nearby.
According to the police, the suspected shooter shot the 53-year-old victim in the head before fleeing on foot towards Rochester Ave.
According to witnesses, EMS transported the victim to the hospital, where the police advised he was pronounced dead.
This is the second fatal shooting that took place in Rochester park in the last two months, with the earlier one taking place on July 7th.
