Teen Shot And Killed In Crown Heights Tuesday

A teenager who was charged in a gang assault and robbery of another teen girl in March was shot and killed Tuesday on a street in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

Police reported that Tyquan Howard, aged 16, was shot about 1:00pm in front of a building on St. Johns Place near Rochester Avenue. He was rushed to Brookdale hospital by EMS, where he died a few hours later.

Tyquan had been arrested for the gang assault and robbery of a fellow teenager on March 5th, after the video of the attack went viral.
