Crime of the Day: Package Theft On East New York Ave

A home on East New York Ave in Crown Heights seems to be a magnet for package thieves, attracting at least one each day.

On both Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, package thieves approached the house, attempting to make a score. Sadly for Tuesdays thief, only the Wednesday thief walked away with packages.

So what do both the Tuesday and Wednesday thieves have in common? They don’t seem to care much about the security cameras watching them.

Reports of package thefts, all the rage just months ago, are slowly making a comeback in the Crown Heights area.
