Two Crown Heights Runners Targeted While On Morning Run

Two Crown Heights marathon runners found themselves running for their lives Tuesday morning while on their regular morning run.

The two had been running up Rogers Ave near President St when a glass bottle was thrown at them, shattering between their legs.

The pair turned around to find an African American male shouting “what your problem,” as he began to chase them.

The two runners took off, losing the man just a few blocks away on Nostrand and Eastern Parkway.

Shomrim was called regarding the incident, but the perpetrator was not found.
