Jewish Woman and Her Toddler Verbally Harassed By Teen In Crown Heights

Around 1:30pm Monday afternoon, a woman walking along Empire Blvd with her toddler, became the target of an attempted phone snatching and verbal anti-Semitic attack by a teenager in Crown Heights.

The incident took place on Empire Blvd between Albany Ave and Kingston Ave. The victim told CrownHeights.info that an African American teenager had attempted to snatch her phone, and after failing that, began yelling at her, using anti-Semitic and racial slurs.

The victim and a witness were stunned, as the teenager completed the tirade before walking off.

The incident was not reported immediately, and a search of the area did not locate the perpetrator.
