Woman Pushed Onto Subway Tracks At President St Station

New York Post

A brute randomly shoved a woman onto subway tracks in Brooklyn — right on the heels of a similar attack just days before, police said Sunday.

The 28-year-old victim was waiting for the Manhattan-bound No. 5 train at the President Street and Nostrand Avenue station in Crown Heights around 8 p.m. Saturday, when a man shoved her from behind, sending her tumbling onto the tracks, cops said.

“She didn’t see the person, because he came from behind,” a high-ranking police source said.

The woman was able to pull herself up from the platform, police said. There were no witnesses.

She was taken to Kings County Hospital Center with cuts to her chin and an injured foot, according to police and sources.

The attacker took off after the assault, and the station’s clerk wasn’t able to get a look at him, the high-ranking source said.

There are no security cameras in that station, the source added.
