The other incidents we did not receive any information regarding anything taken or the type of tool used to break the windows. It appears that we are once again facing a rash of car break-ins, after a short and relative ‘quiet’ period, only now the perpetrators aren’t taking anything, which is especially troublesome since we always recommended keeping the interior of your car clear of anything that may catch a thief’s eye.
In response Shomrim has increased both foot patrols and vehicle patrols thanks to the dedicated members that are always up and available to respond 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. eli from Crown st.
My minivan was broken into and robbed like a week before Pesach, right on corner of NY and Crown.
I was stupid to leave in my car a briefcase. I thought they will not see it behind dark glass. Well, I was very sorry about it next morning. They took briefcase, little pushka, battery booster, but not GPS device that was in a shopping bag. I guess they missed it.
Anyway i don’t keep it there anymore.
It’s not a good idea to leave any visible valuables in the car.
On Pesach I saw i noticed a car next to my house that had GPS holder on the window. (Crown st. Between NY & Brooklyn). Next day I passed by that car had a broken window already.
After all this stuff, it was pretty amazing to see one of the Anash, not a very young man, left his baby in the stroller, next to the mikvah, absolutely not watched while he was inside!!!
Moshiach now. We have to leave in Eretz Isroel with kind of attitude.
anon
We all say we have to do something about this, yet we just talk and talk and don’t do anything. Practice what you preach!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was 3 cars broken into in a few days on Eastern parkway & Brooklyn Ave, 1 on Union st Brooklyn to Kingston,
in fact some one on his way back from sader saw a broken window looked inside and noticed a shvartzer still in the car, so he went over and screamed @ him to get out of the car, so the guy jumped out the window and left the bag of stuff, and walked off towards new York & Eastern Parkway being one guy and his wife he could do much to stop him.
