13 Year Old Girl Struck By Stray Bullet
On Empire between Utica and Schenectady a 13 year old Black girl was shot while on her way home. The incident took place in front of ‘Kev’s Barber Shop’, the girl was walking home at around 8:15pm with her cousin when they passed the barber shop a fight had broken out between a group of men inside the shop and a shot was fired, the bullet grazing the 13 year old.
The girls ran home injured and terrified and called 911, numerous police officers responded and took 9 men that were in the barber shop into custody for questioning regarding the incident. The girl was taken to Kings County Hospital for medical treatment. Detectives from the 71st Precinct and the Brooklyn South Task Force searched the barbershop and were searching for shell casings.

Surprised by insular sentiment in CH
How can you say you don’t care what happens to blacks? The Rebbe told Dinkins that we are one community and often cited our obligation to teach the goyim. We are responsible to keep this neighborhood safe not only for own safety but for the safety of our neighbors as well. The notion that goyim are not worthy of our compassion or attention has no basis in Torah and certainly not in the Rebbe’s view.
