Surveillance video caught three African-American teenagers trespassing into a condo-apartment building and leaving moments later with two bicycles. The building, located on Brooklyn Ave. between East New York and Maple St., is predominantly Jewish.
A neighbor told CrownHeights.info that one of the stolen bikes had just been purchased for a young child by his father last week, and that the boy was now devastated.
CrownHeights.info turned over a copy of the tape to the police, who promised to investigate the crime.
A similar incident took place yesterday in the building of 732 Lefferts Ave. between Troy and Schenectady Ave., where hooligans broke into the building and stole bicycles from the lobby. There were also reports of expensive strollers that have gone missing from buildings’ lobbies in recent weeks.

good advice. dont leave any valuables (bikes/strollers) in the lobby that can be seen from the street, It just give these kids an opportunity to steel easy! be smart and protect your belongings in a proper place. besides lobbies with bikes and strollers make the entrance a mess!

They charge thousands of dollars for security cameras from which all you can see is if your lucky maybe the skin color of the perps.
What is the use if all these cameras? I have yet to see a clear video with a clear picture of a perp.
