Minivan Burglarized on Empire Blvd.
A Jewish-owned minivan, parked in front of Empire Shteibel, was broken into at some point during the night.
What makes this burglary particularly egregious is that it occurred on the same block as the 71st Precinct police station.
The incident occurred sometime before 4:00am Wednesday morning on Empire Blvd. between Brooklyn and New York Aves.
The burglars smashed the passenger side window, and made off with an unknown quantity of valuables that were inside the vehicle.

We never leave ANYTHING visible in the car, not even garbage because a thief will break in thinking its valuable.

I dont know if you can see how badly ransacked the car was. Did they break in for the car seats? My car was parked two cars in front, and they didnt break in to mine. I am sorry Mendy and Miriam.
