CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A suitcase – which has been sitting on Eastern Parkway near Brooklyn Avenue for a few days – was called in to 911 as a suspicious package just an hour ago. Police are taking no chances and shut down the entire area, causing traffic mayhem on Erev Shabbos just as school was being dismissed.
According to witnesses, a worker spotted the locked suitcase and called the police. Other witnesses said that the case had been first seen a number of days ago, but offered no explanation as to why it was not called in.
Bomb squad officers are currently gearing up and getting ready to open the suitcase.
Update: Package was found to be harmless.

This bomb scare was probably arab terrorism related. These people, are trying to intimidate us but will not suceed.
