#That is life in the Crown heights–do you not want to know what is occurring so at least you can do something to protect yourself. How many times have I seen Yidden walking up and down the street on their cell phone oblivious to everything around them and then they wonder why their phone is stolen. Get real, the city is dangerous and crime does occur, you cannot hide your head in the sand especially with a police force whose main priority is to write tickets, both legally and illegally.

  • Head in the Sand

You don’t need to hear bad news Moshe Eliyahu. You can just stick your head in the sand.

  • stop and frisk

We need it. Gun laws won’t help because the thugs probably can’t even read them.
Any kid or adult loitering should be stopped. All public housing buildings have “no loitering” signs. If someone has nothing better to do than just hang around, he’s suspect. He could be reading a book, playing dominoes, anything really. But just standing, looking for trouble, frisk them and get them out of public places.
