Video: 3:00am Bicycle Theft Captured on Video
A thief made off with an expensive bike last week, and the entire incident was captured on surveillance video.
In the video, which takes place at around 3:00am, the thief can be seen ‘scoping out’ the bike, the returning a short while later and chaining his own bike to it. He later returns with burglary tools and spends over a minute cutting off the lock.
He then leaves with the stolen bike while leaving his behind.
The incident occurred on Crown Street right off Kingston Avenue and was captured on surveillance video of the First Quality Paper Goods store.

WHY
Why would anyone not realize that a chain or any kind of lock means NOTHING to someone who wants to steal. They may not know how to read but they are ecxperts at breaking into cars or locks etc. at great neck speed. The only thing that MIGHT be safe to leave outside overnight is your garbage.

Can you freeze a frame of his face? Plaster it all over so we know who to look for and call the cops? Were there recoverable fingerprints on the bike?
