An off-duty cop was shot in the arm this afternoon after being caught in the middle of a wild Brooklyn shootout.

The 38-year-old female officer — who has 17 years on the force — was driving through East New York when shots rang out, police sources said.

Several bullets pierced her car and she suffered wounds to her right arm and elbow.

“She’s just an off-duty NYPD officer who happens to be driving by the wrong place at the wrong name,” one police source said.

An ambulance took the officer, who is assigned to a Queens precinct, from Ashford Street near Linden Boulevard to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

What an ignorant comment for you to make…you are an ignoramus that has no idea what your talking about..who are you to spew those hateful and vindictive comments of whats retaliation and whats not..are you the almighty?? Next time think before you state something as stupid and ignorant what you have stated above.

Reuven, what an ignorant comment for YOU to make. We just came from Rosh Hashonoh, where we acknowledged that Der Eibershter firt dem velt, and here you are calling people “hateful and vindictive” for pointing out the obvious correlation between the police crime against two yidden, and a policewoman being struck by Hashem. Does correlation mean causation? Not necessarily, but it’s a reasonable bet. And Hashem certainly tells us to draw such conclusions, and not to dismiss His deeds as coincidence. Next time why don’t you think before you state something as stupid and ignorant as you did?
