Sometime last (Wednesday) night on President St between New York Ave and Brooklyn Ave a car was vandalized. The side rear window was broken to gain entry to the car and there were numerous things stolen from the car including the airbags.

Police were called in the morning, but did not want to file a report till they were given an estimate on the damages. Shomrim were called and had to remind the cops on the scene, (who apparently were rookies), that they don't need an estimate to file a report, and they filed the report.

Please take extra care not to leave anything in your car, and if you see anyone suspicious looking into cars don’t hesitate to call Shomrim at (718) 774-3333 24/7

  • Why wait

This past week I know of 2 more car brake-ins. One on Union between Kingston and Albany in the street on Saturday night, and the other on Carroll Street between Schenectady and Troy in the back of the house.

We may want to start puting up sevailance by ourselves rather than wait for the comunity leaders. Anyone have any good experts for a good price?

Be patient, Derrick Nelson (remember him YM"S) is soon to be released from Riker’s Island by the "authorities". He’ll soon start joining the other car vandals-thieves again.
Perhaps the "authorities" get a kickback from the insurance and policing industries?
