Alert Shomrim Patrol Leads to Multiple Arrests

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — An alert Shomrim volunteer spotted a late Motzai Shabbos Break-in, which he called in and resulted in eleven arrests!

The incident took place at around 1:15am on Saturday night on Empire Boulevard next door to Empire Shtibel, where the patrolmen spotted a group of black men broke in to a shuttered dry cleaners store. Unsure what exactly was going on he immediately called for backup and police assistance.

Turns out the group broke into the old store to drink and do drugs, and police initially did not want to enter the premises but once the group spotted the cops outside they attempted to flee.

One officer was attacked, and the Shomrim volunteers that gathered saw the perpetrator make a run for it, but he was quickly apprehended by Shomrim and police took him into custody, but not before he punched one Shomrim member in the face.

When the dust settled there were eleven arrests in total, and none of the officers or Shomrim needed any medical attention.

  • critical of NY judges

Now, the big thing is for the judge to slam the door on them, the past practice has been in far too many numerous cases for these liberal bent judges to slap their hands and let them go back onto the s treets.
