CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Two people were shot in a hail of bullets as a fresh wave of violence erupted on Utica Avenue, and police are searching for a single gunman described a 15-year-old black male.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Two people were shot in a hail of bullets as a fresh wave of violence erupted on Utica Avenue, and police are searching for a single gunman described a 15-year-old black male.

The incident took place at around 4:30pm on Utica Avenue between Union Street and President Street – the explosion of gunfire took place after a confrontation according to eye witnesses.

EMS transported the two victims to area hospitals and police are investigating.

Update: Two additional victims, a male and female, walked into Kingsboro hospital with gunshot wounds from the Utica Avenue shooting.

    This is one day i will never forget for the rest of my life imagine i dont go clubbing i try my best to keep away from trouble and this nonsense happened I am the barber who was shot in this shit thank god im alive and its the first time reading about this madness it was crazy nowhere to run all i could of doe was lay on the floor and bare the agony of the bullet that grazed my knee then to bare the pain of the one that bore my foot breaking two bones now all im left to do is pay freaking hospital bills out my pockets while these animals get 3 meals a dam day im pist my entire summer is ruin i have not seen my kids since this happeend i cant let them see me like this
