71st Precinct Police Officer Arrested for Shoplifting
NY Daily News
A cop assigned to the 71st precinct in Crown Heights was apprehended last night by a store security guard for shoplifting, and was arrested.
An off-duty cop was busted for trying to steal headphones from a Brooklyn electronics store, police sources said Friday.
Officer Richard Quinn was nabbed about 9 p.m. Thursday by a security guard at the Best Buy on Bay Parkway, in Bensonhurst.
Quinn was charged with petit larceny and suspended.
He’s assigned to the 71st Precinct in Crown Heights.

pitiful
you crown heightser are so pitiful, racist dorks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No surprise
There are so many stories about the shameful way some of them treat those they are paid to protect that this comes as no surprise. Why can’t we have more of the good ones & less of the low quality?
If it had happened in CH..
Judging from past experiences, if this had happened in Crown Heights they would probably have threatened the store owner not to press charges.

You people make me sick. So this guy was bad. Glad he got caught, but what about the rexst who are buy and large honest and excellent. Those of you complaining about tickets probably deserved them. I was privileged to serve in the 71 from 1972 – 1984 when an injury cut my career short. I hasve a photograph of me with the Rebbe from 1981. I value my time in Crown Heights and was honored to mhave worked closely with Leibel Groner, one of the best men that I have known. All that I am saying is that not all cops arebad just like all of us Jews are not bad because of one who is.
