Bullet Holes in Beis Rivkah – from BB Gun?
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — After news of the murder of Mervyn Johnson spread in the community residents grew angry with both the police and the Rabbis who attempted to muzzle vocal disdain towards the police. Much media attention was given to the homicide, which took place on the steps of Beis Rivkah, the largest Jewish girl’s school in the neighborhood.
TV station ABC7 highlighted a disturbing find, a large bullet hole in the school’s main entrance way. The news station incorrectly assumed the bullet hole was made during the course of the murder of Mr. Johnson, a local bakery shop owner, when in fact it happened a number of weeks before.
Rabbi Benjy Stock, the school administrator, told CrownHeights.info that they had made a police report when they had first discovered the bullet hole three weeks before the murder.
The officers that came to take the report brushed it off and said it was just a pellet or BB gun that caused the hole, which was over an inch in diameter, and was much more likely caused by a large caliber bullet. The glass panes are reinforced, and are designed to withstand rock throwing and other sorts of vandalism.
Police did not return calls for comment asking how many reported shootings, and confirmed shootings, have taken place in the area.
tipshim
Usually we would say there we go again. But this being in the past, the correct version would be to say, “there we went” I love CHelm heights, where the going gets tougher, and the tougher doesn’t get going. By the way with the price of copper that bullet should be worth good money. Amen be amen. I love you guys from crown heights info, may you go from crime scene, to crime seen. Very cute.
POLICE GO TO HELL!!!
WHEN THE POLICE GUY RUSSEL….. WAS KILLED IN THE SUMMER OF ’08, THEN THE COPS MADE A BIG STINK AND MADE SURE TO CATH THE GUYS, BUT NOW THAT IT IS NOT ONE OF THEIR OWN THEY DO NOT CARE TO TAKE CARE OF IT, OR TO CALL BACK OR COMMENT….
gosh
so freaky tons of girls go to that school
ignorance is bliss
Now why are you just making trouble? You post all this stuff that shows the cops in a bad light. Did you get permission? Did you ask Mechila in advance from HaRabbonim HaGaonim Simonnetti & Sperlin?
You should be ashamed of yourselves. You drag up stuff from weeks ago that negatively impacts our community, that was deliberately ignored & pushed under the rug so we shouldn’t get angry that the police & the CHJCC conspire AGAINST us.
What kind of responsible website are you? You post more trouble-making facts & truths that are far worse than anything Rush, Savage, Glenn or Hannity could possibly say. I’m going to push Letitia James, Karim Camara & Eric Adams to get you shut down for incitement to tell the truth. I know they will rush to judgment & join forces with Tamir & Eli Cohen to put an end to your shenanigans & put you out of business.
DISGUSTING!

Grammar Teacher
Dear poster #7:
Obviously, both you & #3 are woefully ignorant of the rules & conventions of punctuation.
The “sentence” should have read “so freaky, tons of girls go to that school”
Of course, to be properly correct as a full sentence (including correct usage) it should read
“It’s so freaky, many girls go to this school!” I’d allow ‘freaky’ because it’s the vernacular, not because it’s my favorite adjective.
You see how incorrect punctuation changes the meaning of a sentence? SIGH. I feel for your grammar teacher, I really do. And if you’ve graduated high school, I must ask…HOW???
PS: Yes, one can use ‘and’ at the beginning of a sentence.
shocked
i personally was shocked and so were my parents because i go to bais rivka
