But there were the isolated incident over the last month that bore the trademark or Terrance Nelson, Crown Heights’s bona-fide recidivist auto burglar.

Nelson Strikes Again

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — There has been a relative calm in our neighborhood, the calm referring to car owners not having to worry about waking in the morning to find one of their windows busted and their belongings stolen. But there were the isolated incident over the last month that bore the trademark or Terrance Nelson, Crown Heights’s bona-fide recidivist auto burglar.

CrownHeights.info has learned that Nelson has been released a number of weeks ago, but has not returned to his normal pattern, only hitting one car a night and sticking out of the heart of Crown Heights.

Shabbos afternoon though he struck a Hatzalah members SUV which was parked in a driveway on Lefferts Avenue between Albany and Troy Avenue at 1:30 in the afternoon. A Shomrim member who was passing by attempted to apprehend him but was unsuccessful and a passing police officer was flagged down to file a report.
