CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Two Bochurim walking home late Friday night were shot at from a car with a paintball gun, striking one of the Bochurim in the face. The incident took place at around 11:00pm as they were walking on Eastern Parkway and Albany Avenue, right in front of two cops who refused to do anything about it.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Two Bochurim walking home late Friday night were shot at from a car with a paintball gun, striking one of the Bochurim in the face. The incident took place at around 11:00pm as they were walking on Eastern Parkway and Albany Avenue, right in front of two cops who refused to do anything about it.

The paintball hit the Bochur square in the forehead and left a nasty mark right above his eye, and thank g-d did not cause any other serious injuries.

According to the victim he was shot at from a passing car, and within seconds following the incident he ran over to the two cops who were standing at the corner and told them what had happened and they refused to do anything saying that they were on foot and there is nothing that they can do.

In addition to not pursuing the perpetrators the cops did not file a police report either.

    the cops where busy looking to arrest more shomrim members because of shmira missira. besides who would you complain to? Napoleon (simonetty) is busy pushing crime under the rug to make himself look better. A report will only raise his statistics and help prove why shomrim is a much needed organization for our schuna

    Last week a theif was seen taking sacks of oinions from a delivery at Raskins at 6:00am. The theif was walking down President St. towards Albany. The Witness ran to the Police command center at EP and told a police officer in a car parked there the story. She responded by telling him to call 911 because she can’t leave this area!!

    … police officers in that car get to read every news paper cover to cover even the death notices.

    …police officers in crown heights get to use their free nights and weekends, and when the Sargent comes they write tickets.

    UMMMMM…. what are their jobs?? To STAND there and look good? Cant they have the decency to at least call and report? Whats the command center for if they cant even place a call that a crime was commited? So backward and ridiculous!

    I would like to think that
    the reason the cops can’t leave
    their post is for a good and absolutlely
    necessary reason. They are specially assigned
    to watch out for terrorism, and you do not want them
    to be distracted by any other matter.

    What would be so hard to pull off a diversion, where
    the terrorist police leave their post to respond to
    some petty “thief,” and then the terrorists will, CH“V,
    have an easier mode of ”operation?!”

    Let’s not forget that some Arabs, with ties to terrorism,
    were found with maps of 770 on them.

    Charles Hynes who is the District Attorney is up for re-election tomorrow. He has refused to go after some serious crimes just because he is afraid of starting up with the black community. unfortunately he is endorsed by both the republican and democratic parties. People should not vote for him rather you should wright in anyone you think could do a better job. This might even be yourself. Pencils are provided and you can wright in a name on the left side of the ballot. Even if he will win he will know that there is some opposition and that it could get worse next election if he doesn’t do something about it.

    There were 2 cops in a car trying to catch drivers
    I asked them for their badge number (because they took a RED light in order to pull someone over).

    1- They did not want to show me their badge – “I dont have to move”
    2- they told me “WE ARE GUARDING THE PLACE – NOT GIVING TICKETS”!!!!!!!
