Duo Mugged Two Girls for Frozen Chicken, Apprehended!

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Friday afternoon, a duo of not-so-bright muggers snatched a shopping bag of frozen chickens from two Jewish girls. The incident took place on Crown Street when the two muggers, a Black man in his mid 20’s and a Black girl in her late teens, walked passed the two Jewish girls and snatched one of their shopping bags.

Turns out the bag they stole contained frozen chickens.

One alert bystander who saw what had taken place, followed the muggers, who walked into Bunch-o-Bagles on Troy Avenue. Apparently needing a replacement bag after the one they snatched ripped. The bystander then walked into the store and notified the owner who locked the store door and held the perpetrators.

Back at the scene police were called by the victims and together they went to the bagel store in order to make an identification, which they were able to, and the duo were arrested.

    i was in buncho and i overheard the girl that mugged her saying “dont! i just came out of jail yesterday!” that sure makes us feel safe. she just got out of jail and already acting up agian!
