CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Shomrim and Police working hand in hand, yesterday Sunday afternoon, and apprehended two Black teens for multiple counts of trespassing. The incident began in the back yards of homes on Union and President Streets and Albany and Troy Avenues.

Many residents called Shomrim to complain about the trespassers, who somehow gained access to the back of the homes which has no alleyway, and no access from the streets.

Shomrim Apprehend Duo, Police Make Arrests

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Shomrim and Police working hand in hand, yesterday Sunday afternoon, and apprehended two Black teens for multiple counts of trespassing. The incident began in the back yards of homes on Union and President Streets and Albany and Troy Avenues.

Many residents called Shomrim to complain about the trespassers, who somehow gained access to the back of the homes which has no alleyway, and no access from the streets.

Numerous Shomrim members responded and after a short pursuit they cornered the two and called 911. Many police officers responded, and in stark contrast to the recent behavior of the Police Department, worked together with Shomrim and placed the two under arrest, and took formal complaints from many of the homeowners.

The responding officers thanked Shomrim and praised their professionalism at the scene.

    have the soldiers build a wall and tear
    it down again to train ( and test ) the soldiers
    in dicipline.
    That’s what the U.S. criminal justice system
    is doing now.
    These criminals will be out of jail (If they even
    enter) in a few days or weeks.

    Dear: ”A resident of Crown Heights:
    Show me statistics that the criminals are afraid of either Shomrim or the police dept.
    The recitivism rate is 60% in New York. Yes, 6 out of 10 criminals, after incareration, continue with their life of crime. Amongst the other %40 some might have found jobs or gone on welfare, while, perhaps, 10%-20% were afraid of the law (?).
    We live in a ‘parasitic’ society. The judges, police, munitions companies, prisons, etc. have jobs and flourish while the public suffers. The more crime the more money they make, overtime, etc.
    The government isn’t wise, or good-hearted enough to institute The 7 Noahide Laws to REALLY protect the public.
    After I spoke to a cop once about these ‘mitzvot’ she said: “I’ll lose my job!”
    So, sheepish public, continue to have your throats cut by the failure called: ‘the criminal justice system’.

    i agree with you! when i read the reports and see the comments, i feel like “try to say something positive, will ya?” critizing won’t help! my sister was one of the callers, but youre right! they are just kids! start using your money to give them a responsibility in life and they might not have time to do this sort of stuff. this is a cycle of life on the streets from the 1920’s and Prohibition again! try to be a bit more understanding! see from their point of view, not just your stable-life,ultra-frummi, closeted one!
