The store owner was taken to Kings County Hospital Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

One of the dead men was inside the store and the other was on the street not far away, the police said. They did not immediately release the men’s names.

Witnesses say a group of alleged robbers went into the store and somehow ended up in a shootout with the owner.

Police say two of the suspected robbers were shot and killed. The rest of the group allegedly fled.

I pray the store owner recovers. He did a good job…let this be a lesson to all those lowlifes who think they can just take over our streets & take what they want, when they want it.

Howdy pardner velcome to da streets of CH.
In the old wild west movies you could always tell who the bad guys were cause they always wore black. Problem here in CH is everybody is in black and the bullets are real.

the 71st pct is lacking leadership a total breakdown its a danger for the community. we need change now crime is only on the rise due economic crises and there is no dialog between both community

I don’t believe that the 71st Pct. lacks leadership because of this incident.
How can a local pct. control the guns that people get?
Basically we live in a violent society, more interested in material wealth, fun and games than morality.
This is easliy seen in the fear the potential criminal has of the law. Was the law REALLY strong, crimnals would fear such acts. Witness all the shooting that have occurred throughout the U.S. in the past 10 years: guns are easy to get and the criminals aren’t terribly afraid of getting caught. Even if they get caught, they feel they’ll won’t lose, witness Lemrick Nelson’s acquittal. Perhaps they’ll get a light sentence or escape. Criminals have, in recent history, escaped from high security prisons.
If our (Corrupt: Rubashkin, Pollard, etc.) government were REALLY SERIOUS about protecting it’s citizens they would institute The 7 Noahide Laws. Right now they’re fooling around with our lives.
There’s a bunch of arrogant fools and idiots leading us.

How can anyone blame simonetti for this incident.

These types of crimes can happen anywhere at any time.

I hope the store owner has a full recovery.

    To J.J. and the rest of you asking “how can we blame simmonetti” ill explain it to you;

Since he took command of the 71st Precinct violent crime and murder has gone up like crazy, there were more murders in our immediate crown heights alone then in the entire area last year, and the year isnt over.

Under Vega we didnt have half as many police officers and crime was significantly lower, now the precicnt has over 300 cops and more foot cops then there has been in over 5 years, but it seems to me that they are either blind or stupid or both because our cars are being broken into and our airbags are getting stolen.

And where is simmonetti? he is no where to be seen. I guess the story with his officers violating that hispanic dude in the subway is taking up all his time.

But its HIGH TIME to loose simmonetti.

It’s a shame that hard working people are the target of robberies. I personally know africa & his wife. They are in my prayers. He will pull through this. He is a great man. I don’t wish deather upon anyone but they were out for no good so the saying is when you live but the sword you die by the sword. I feel sorry for the suspects parents that have to deal with the burials

Those old wild west movies were in black and white. Today it’s still black and white, but it’s for real!!!

  • A Great iDea

I think they should put up cameras at every corner and record what happends 24×7, and it shouldn’t be visable to anyone for privacy reasons, unless it shows the criminal entering or leaving the crime location or shows the actual crime being commited, then it can be subpoenaed.
A small investment but it will scare ppl of being caught and busted.
We live in a technically advanced world, it’s cheap to implement and easy to maintain.
