Jewish residents living at 350 Lefferts Ave, between New York and Nostrand Ave, were shocked Sunday, when they found out that Mezuzahs from six floors of the building were ripped off and stolen.

Jewish residents living at 350 Lefferts Ave, between New York and Nostrand Ave, were shocked Sunday, when they found out that Mezuzahs from six floors of the building were ripped off and stolen.

Not knowing what to do, one resident called Shomrim, who called the NYPD come down to investigate. After walking around the building, it was observed that most of the Mezuzas on the right side of the building were stolen and the left side was relatively untouched.
The NYPD has launched an investigation, and brought in the Hate Crimes Task Force. Anyone who has any information is urged to call NYPD Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-577-TIPS.
