CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A month and a half ago a Lubavitcher Yeshiva school bus loaded with 13 young children on their way home was pelted with stones from a group of black youths. Last night detectives from the Hate Crimes Taskforce made 4 arrests in connection with the incident.
The suspects, all 14 years old, were on their way home from school when they threw the rocks, which they had prepared in advance, at the bus which was clearly carrying Jewish children. The 14 year olds were all charged with Criminal Mischief, an arrestable offence, in addition they were charged with committing a hate crime for a attacking a Jewish school bus.

Detectives who were investigating the incident learned of the specific individual’s involvement after they bragged about it to their friends.
These arrests mark a significant improvement for the 71st precinct, who since the assault and subsequent capture of the perps that attacked Alon Sherman have managed to make arrests in each case involving assault and robbery involving Jews.

It’s about time the cops in 71 start doing their work the right way. Vega is barely out the door and the new CO is coming in and already we see an improvement :)
Let’s hope this good work continues and they will find and arrest all the other (over 30) outstanding cases where yidden were attacked.

I find it funny how people will blame the 71pct for not doing there jobs correctly (correctly in your minds at least)and you all praise the cops for doing a good in catching those stupid people that want to hurt the people of jewish faith but when one of people of jewish faith commits a crime like the assualt on the officers kid nobody saw or says anything I will say this again 1 life is not worth more than another. The jews community needs to stop acting like there better than other people and just extend a hello instead of starring at other people. Here’s hoping peace will remain in crown hts, brooklyn, new york, america, and the world
