  this kid was supposedly a cops kid, so of course now they are serious. but when its just some unknown 14 year old jewish kid getting beatup for his cell phone and the cops catch the guy and there are EYEWITNESS reports they let the kid go and the news media does NOTHING.   Let me defend channel 12 – if I may. When Balkany got beat up, they had the TV all over it etc. that’s because he’s well connected. EXACTLY the same is here – you beat a black kid who’s father is a cop, and since he’s well connected, your obviously going to have the TV crew out there!

  With regard to the Balkany incident it was not his “connections” that got us the press coverage, it was his hard work and repeated phone calls to the media outlets that got them to pay attention.

  I don’t know much about this incident but the media response could have been because the boys father is a cop.

  Something tells me that his side of the story is made up. I believe that he may of been beaten to a pulp, but perhaps it was as a defensive measure, and not just when he was “innocently” walking down the street. Trust but verify, does not apply in cases of man bites dog. It is just so unlikely that his tale is accurate, that I’ll have to believe my gut feeling until he SUBSTANTIATES his story.

  who CARES if it was a jewish person that attacked an african-american, or vice versa? the point is that there are people within the shechuna that act like animals – yidden and goyim alike. there are SO many wonderful members of the black community, and just as many fantastic members of the jewish one. we need to get together to clean up the area once and for all. when i walk down the streets of crown heights every day i make sure to smile and greet the people i see, man or woman, jew or black. small gestures of friendship can go a long way. i teach my children of course to be careful, but also that our black neighbors are just as important and deserving of safety and quality of life as we or anyone else are. if we all adopt an attitude like this, we won’t need to bicker about the injustice of media coverage of these unfortunate incidents. We’ll be able to band together for what really matters – the safety of our families, education of our children, and happiness as a cohesive American community.

  Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY – The NYPD is hunting for two Jewish men who tear-gassed and beat a young black man in Brooklyn.

  The 20-year-old victim, a son of an NYPD officer, was walking south on Albany Ave., Crown Heights, when a white assailant on a bike sprayed him with tear gas. A GMC Envoy then pulled up and another young white man jumped out and hit the victim twice in the back with a nightstick.

  Community sources said the SUV driver was a volunteer with the Crown Heights Shmira, a Hasidic anti-crime neighborhood patrol, but was not on duty at the time. Police located the SUV, with its front license plate removed, based on witness reports and were seeking its driver last night.

  The victim, identified by sources as Andrew Charles, was treated at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and released.

  We don’t eat Satmar meat because their community is out of control. I have a huge problem with the way a lot of the goyim act around here and believe that there is probably an unfair lack of news coverage about the terrible things they do to us, but since when does that give us permission to act like them? Even if the people that did this were provoked, as I am sure they were, we call ourselves ChaBaD for a reason, and as hard as it is, we have to keep trying to act with constraint and seichel.

  If we should be upset with anything it is the local and state government and law enforcement for putting us in the position to feel like we have to self-enforce our safety. We are expected to follow the laws of the country we are living in so until Moshiach comes, we should be using our koach to encourage local police and government to help us fix these problems, not add to them.

  They took the SUV they used and hid it. They changed the license plates on it to try and disguise the car. They parked it under a building and behind another car so it would be impossible to tow it. They fled the state.

  All those are facts that you all are choosing to ignore.

  This is the behavior of very guilty people, who knew very well the implications of what they have done and had the foresight to take all those preemptive measures to try and hide their guilt, which we all saw proved to be futile.

  Let’s talk about Shmira;

  They are completely out of control, this story is just a drop in the bucket, it isn’t the first time they did such a thing, just three months ago they beat up a black teen in the very same intersection and police were called and they got one of their members locked up along with an innocent bystander.

  They are an organization which is led by Yossi Stern, a criminal and a Moser who got 7 (yes, seven) Shomrim members locked up earlier this year together with their ‘lawyer’ Paul Huebner, a decorated Moser who takes great pride in his work.

  Well, if this is anything, it is some form of sick justice. They had so much time on their hands to Masser on other Yidden, G-d gave them now something to be busy with.

  what a shame – not only the attack on the black kid, but also the awful perspective (and awful spelling) of many on this website. The Jewish patrol is out of control as is the business of riding through the neighborhoods blasting sound, assaulting the eardrums – one group trying to lord it over the other, both groups with their problem people. This would never have hit the news had the kid just been a regular kid, black or white. Thank goodness the kid’s dad was a cop, so now at least we will get some information, hopefully the truth. The community leaders must teach respect for ‘the other’ – politeness, courtesy, soft words and soft sounds.
  Let’s wait and see what information comes out.

  Mainly the motive and the prelude to the story. Basically the story as reported doesn’t make sence and is clearly missing core details.

  Their lack of mentioning what the reason might have been, (money, hate, revenge) and their use of the vague term “exchange of words” leads me to believe that they are covering up somthing and are practicing selective reporting. ppl should call them on this.

  We all need to do something NOW about the problem of Jews attacking black people, because it is getting out of control in Crown Heights. First the racist rabbi ran over and killed a black kid, and expressed zero remorse, and now this! This has got to get under control, people.
