Nelson Is Out Again, 6 Cars Hit in 2 Nights
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — in the past two night’s five cars were broken into and valuables ranging from potable GPS units to loose change were taken. Two cars were hit on New York Avenue, one on Brooklyn Avenue and another three in alleyways inside their owner’s garages.
A Shomrim coordinator told CrownHeights.info that Terrance Nelson, also known as Derrick Nelson, was spotted yesterday morning roaming the streets of Crown Heights, and is believed to be behind the break-ins.
All cars had signs of forced entry and tool marks from a flathead screwdriver that was forced into the side of the glass and causing it to shatter.
Since February of 2005 Shomrim has been responsible for having Nelson arrested over 12 times and we reported well over 50 car break-in incidents. According to law enforcement officials these crimes are not considered to be serious and carry little jail time, allowing vehicle owners to be terrorized.
If you see Nelson [pictured below] please call the Shomrim hotline at (718) 774-3333 24/7

This should also be on the agenda at tomorrow’s precinct council meeting! I hope victims of this ganuf will be there en masse to protest his revolving door arrest/release cycle.
BigBen
It’s time to put PO Pablo Rivera Y”S 15886 on the case. First he will arrest the victim then he will apologize to Derelict Nelson and then he will drive away in a blaze of glory on the hunt for the next big donut sale. hahaha.
The Police meeting is tomorrow at 7:45pm make sure you and your friends show up. Meanwhile if you see Derelict Nelson give em whatfer…

Thank you for printing his picture. We need more of this.
Thanks, Shomrim, and thanks, crownheights.info!
Thinking out loud (very loud)
Can we get a special “I Spoted Nelson” hotline?
Or, how about T-shirts with something like “My car was robbed by nelson and all that was left was this lousy T-shirt”.
Maybe he’s trying to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records, of number of cycles of Break-ins, arrest and liberated then break-ins again and Etc.
His long established “company” must be going public by now, I wonder how much the stocks will be…
There should be a GPS tracking device attached to him, and a big map in 770 displaying his present location…
Ok, I guess I’m finished. Now, back to reality: Nelson again! What in the world???? Can’t he be departed to the moon or something? He doesn’t seem to learn his lesson.
make that 7 cars
make that 7 cars, my car was broken in too
momo
Hey, i understand nelson, he simply needs to live, and seemingly his low digit I.Q. dose not qualify him for any kind of job, other then what he is doing, now. He only needs to support himself since he is still living,but- oib men harget dem sheigets – will there be no more problem.
PurimAintOver!
The community really should do more for Dreck Nelson and others like him. For instance he could make a great target for an archery range at Camp Gan Izzy somewhere – preferably in Outer Mongolia. Alternately, he just might make a good candidate for Vaad Hakohol.
Just my 2 cents
50 car’s broken in to = 50,000$ in damage..
So maybe hire a decent lawyer to make sure the city keeps him locked up.. the community council *should* be doing that.
Tachlis, if you spot him and your in a dark alley with a few friends.. break every one of his bones.. give him some jewish justice and teach the rest..
Again, as posted in 2 other articles.. legaly the cops are not under ANY obligation to protect you..thats YOUR job as a american.
A jew who cares
Geico offers no fault window insurance for a very small fee, where they will pay for a broken window no matter what.It also wont effect your premiums….
Go get him
Dear Mr. Unknown,
If you look in the picture of Nelson in the Shomrim car you will see him wearing a black cap. Now, if you look in the car that was broken into you will see the same cap sitting on the seat! So what do you think???
victim #24
why not get a more recent picture (editor??) and post WANTED signs around crown heights :)
THE ONLY WAY
THE ONLY WAY THE POLICE MIGHT TAKE NOTICE OF OUR SLITUATION IS IF WE GET TO THE MEDIA AND PUBLICIZE THESE INCIDENTS. THERE ARE CERTAIN T V STATIONS THAT GO AFTER THESE KINDS OF INJUSTICES.

Maybe if he had a job and money he wouldn’t need to break into cars. So maybe if instead of violence – a little bit of love – get him to a shelter and a job, the problem would be solved

To “the only way”: In the scope of living in NYC, 6 break-ins in a night will hardly make it to the front page of the NY Times. stop whining!! you live in crown heights, accept it!
To “Go get him”: Wow!! you must be Sherlock Holmes! I should have known that there is only one black cap in the whole NYC. With your perception, you should run for DA.
To “my 2 cents” and “mn”: You’ll be surprised to hear that the Rebbe was adamantly opposed to the “dark alley” tactic; they also hold of the “collective punishment” theory. are you taking responsibility for the poor girl walking alone on the day another chalera wishes to avange nelson’s blood?!
To “thinking out loud”: chazak to you! very funny! where can I get myself a T-Shirt?
...
he dosent stop!!!
