A Rosh Hashanah Message from the Vaad Hakohol and CHJCC Board of Directors
As we approach the new year 5786, we want take a moment to reflect on the trust you have placed in us to rebuild and strengthen two of the community’s most vital institutions:
– The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council (CHJCC), which provides essential social services, programs, and funding to support our community.
– The Beis Din, which provides spiritual guidance to our community through our Rabbonim, community leadership, and the CHK.
Over the past year, tremendous work has been done to rebuild the foundations of both the Community Council and the Beis Din. The fruits of this labor are already beginning to take shape, and we look forward to sharing their benefits with the community in the years ahead.
In the coming months, we will be hosting a community town hall to share our progress in more detail and publishing more transparent communications on the progress made, the impact it has on the community, and what you can expect going forward.
For now, we wish the entire Crown Heights Jewish community a Kesiva V’Chasima Tova, a good, gebentched year, filled with sweetness, blessings, and continued shalom. We are honored to represent you, and we remain committed to serving you with dedication and integrity.
May the coming year bring continued brachos for our community, unity in all that we do, and together with the Rebbe the ultimate redemption with Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days.
With heartfelt wishes for a sweet New Year,
The Vaad Hakohol & CHJCC Board of Directors
