Meet The Candidates Event To Be Held For Vaad Hakohol Election Candidates

A “Meet the Candidates” event will take place for the Vaad Hakohol Deshchunas Crown Heights election on Monday, the 12th of Iyar, May 20th, 8:00pm at the Lubavitcher Yeshiva Side Hall.

The event will allow the community to come meet the candidates in person, where they will introduce themselves and their position in the community.

The event will be broadcast Live online.

As previously reported on CrownHeights.info, nine nominating petitions were received as of last Monday on behalf of the potential candidates. The committee assigned to the election examined the petitions and decided that all appeared to be valid, with more than the required 50 eligible voters signed.

The candidates already cleared by the committee are: Yehuda Kirsh, Dovid Halon, Meir New, Yankel Goldstein, Yitzie Kamman, Shmuel Rosenstein, Berel Hildeshaim, Zalman Friedman, and Pinchos Woolstone.
