2nd Hazmono Sent to R. Braun, and Ikkul Clarification

Last night all the members of the Vaad Hakohol received a clarification to the Ikkul issued by the Krauss Beis Din, along with a second Hazmono [summons] to a din torah for Rabbi Yosef Braun. The Ikkul was reinforced and reiterated saying that it applies to the entire community, Rabbi Braun, as well as the entire Vaad and it will remain in effect until a Din Torah will be held.

The summons was titled “Summons #2 and Strengthening of the Ikkul” and was addressed to Rabbi Yosef Braun personally, and to the Vaad Hakohol.

The Hazmono stated “We also come to strengthen the Ikkul that we wrote with the [first] hazmono and the Ikkul remains in effect on the community on Rabbi Braun and on the Vaad until they appear for a Din Torah” and is signed by the three Dayonim.

The hearing is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the 27th of March – Chof Alef Adar Bais at 11:00am.

How is the Vaad Reacting?

Zaki Tamir already made it clear in post on his blog that he intends not to listen to the Ikkul based on Rabbi Rosenbergs say-so, but then partially retracted that statement after R. Rosenberg denied such a conversation ever taking place.

Fishel Brownstein said that he never received the first Ikkul so as far as he was concerned it does not apply to him.

Yossi Hackner said that he listens to Rabbonim, and since a Beis Din issued an Ikkul he must listen. When asked if he supports what Tamir is doing he replied “I don’t support anything he does since he does it all on his own.”

    I am surprized that the Ikul is addressed to “Horav Braun” – when that is the very issue of the Ikul?!

    Now the Brauners can claim that this is a “smicha” from Rabbi Kraus since it addresses Braun as Horav!

    Regarding Braun-stein’s reaction – since the Ikul is addressed also to the Vaad Hakohol, if “it does not apply to him”, I take it that he has resigned from the Vaad?!

    I heard that the smicha from Rabbi Krauss was grabbed out of Braun’s hand and ripped into confetti – this smicha was also destroyed!

    they must answer to the ikul. if there was any way out of it then rosenberg would have said so. the fact that he stated to Zakie that he did not say “i did not say not to listen” shows thay dont have a choice nut to show up. or the whole bais din can pack there bags. and this may be an option for rosenberg to get out of his mess. he playd this one to far.he under estimated the out cry how he favored the side that paid him better

    dont associate the “other side” with Mishichistim: I’m a total Meshichist, believe that the rebbe is alive and i still abide with Rabbi Osdoba Shlit”a and am not at all pro Rabbi(maybe)Shwei. On the other hand, i know a couple of people who dont say Yechi… and they go by Rabbi shwei so it has nothing to do if you’re meshichist or not, it just has to do whether you are a naive person – good person but naive – or maybe you have something strong against Rabbi Osdoba, Or you like a soft-talking Rov as rabbi shwei(quite shallow).

    Fishel Brownstein is a weak person and a puppeet to Rabbi mangel who is a supporter of Rabbi Shwei. He knows he has to answer to the Krauss Beis Din but is being manipulated by forces such as mendy Hendel.

    This whole inyan is just very unfortunate and especially when the youth in CH are subjected to overhearing and reading all of this machloikes. I think #7 as to why would someone move his whole family and then knowingly inject himself into such machloikes. Even if a Bais Din will convene and deem his smichoh to be valid, can anyone really respect him? Will he ever be able to work with Rabbi Osdoba and Rabbi Schwei in a formidable fashion and have the communty ever feel that there is a reputable and respectable Bais Din. What is even more unfortunate is that because the whole world is probably looking at this fiasco and having a good laugh at our expense.

    The only Smichah that will help anyone today is Smichah in how to
    train the FERD. You first have to ‘Shmais de ferd biz az er vaist

    longer a FERD). Reading the comments it’s clear that from either

    One should not forget that the ones responsible for the ikul are Rav Yoel Kahn shlita and the other 2 choshuver talmidei chachomim who wrote the letter, to which no attempt at refute was made.

    One does not have to be a Rav to write the letter which R’ Yoel Kahn and his co-signers wrote, as it has nothing to do with Rabbonis’dik inyanim. The letter shows that the criteria for a Rav of this shchuna, according to the sicha, are not being kept here at all.

    Do we feel that The Psak Din by Rabbo Rosenbergs Beis Din is clear and final and Rabbi Rosenberg is Right for quiting because those handful of Machlokes Machers who refuse to accept the Psak Din of the Zabla, can’t be made to shut up, (and comply with the Zabla Psak Din) unless Rabbi Rosenberg “quits” and ‘unplugs his phone’?

    Indeed we see today that “Ubney Korach Loy Mesu” and that they continue to carry on in Korachs Ways, but Purim Teaches us who all evil ultimately ends.
